I was born and raised in a small village in Lithuania. Life in the village was simple, yet profoundly rich. The air was clean, the water pure, and the food came straight from the Earth, nurtured by the hands of my family and neighbours. As a child, I thrived in this environment, nourished by the fruits of nature and filled with the vitality and wonder of a life deeply connected to the land. But life is ever-changing, and when I was seven years old, my family moved to the city. Gone were the clean streams and garden-grown meals, replaced by mass-produced food and the rush of urban life. I adapted, as children do, but I felt a growing disconnection from the magic and purity of my earlier years. Later, in my teenage years, my family relocated to London. While the city held the promise of opportunity, I found myself longing for the peace and simplicity of my roots. The bustling city life, filled with its distractions and superficialities, left me feeling unbalanced and disconnected.
